Due to moving, work and family time in San Francisco I am way behind in blog reading. Today, while waiting for a glitch in the system at work (yes, working on a Sunday, after working over eight hours on a Saturday, such is life) to be repaired so that I can complete a task then go about my day, I have taken the down time to catch up on some of mah favorite girly blogs…
- Violet Blue’s “dear apple” post made me howl with laughter and somewhat strangely aroused me in considering my own torrid affair with my computer… I like my computers like I like my lovers, slightly damaged and tattooed (stickered.) LOL!
- Bloggrrl got sick and learned how to increase her productivity at the same time… see her conclusions in her “Get Sick, Increase Productivity” post. Mah fav part is the picty of the doggie w/it’s head in the toilet… it made me giggle. I hope Michelle is feeling better, I feel badly for laughing at her feverish delirium.
- Latest Gadgets and Technology Used has a post about finding affordable eyewear online: as all geeky grrls know (as explained to me once by Heather Gold,) “next to our computers our glasses are the most expensive thing we own.”
- I’m horrid b/c I haven’t been keeping up with Violent Acres AT ALL… so I have to issue a general shoutout, b/c VA is so awesomely sarcastic and… violent… ish… I lurve her!
- Mah lovely editor, the amazingly adorable Cup Cate has a cute post about “What Geeks do on Saturday Nights” — not only that, but if you scroll down a little further on her blog you’ll see that she’s headed out on the Vox World Tour… which is bringin’ her to my neck of the woods… *dorky grrl jump* !!!!
- And, one boy blog (but, Laughing Squid is just so f-ing awesome)… “How to Speak Geek and Behave on an Internet Forum” was posted by Scott Beale on LS earlier in the week… made me giggle a lot. And, oddly quite relevant to my job. Hee-hee.
Off to write more… very productive weekend this has been, yes.

I didn’t realize we read so many of the same blogs! Anyway, I’m all better now. I just wish the dog really would throw up in the toilet instead of on the carpet..:-P
